RARE original used theatrical poster from the 1956 re-release of the 1944 classic starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. Based on the Ernest Hemmingway novel of the same title.

Hemmingway's classic novel, written during his time in Key West, was changed to the story of how the two principal characters met to suit Hollywood executives.

The poster has been floated to show the original reference R56-414, depicting the year of the re-release and the production number.

The poster has been linen-backed to help preserve it and beautifully framed in black lacquer measuring approx. 19 1/8' x 41".
